SNU_ID Application

You can apply online for an SNU_ID, which is required to use Seoul National University’s portal and other information services. You can do this on the initial screen of the Seoul National University portal.

 – After registering the personal information of new employees in the Personnel and Education Department’s system, individuals can apply for their own SNU_ID.

  • This ID is automatically used as a webmail address (e.g., user_id@snu.ac.kr).
  • You can use it 15 minutes after online registration, and it is advisable to change your password regularly.

Mail and Notification Services

We provide mail services that are accessible from anywhere, both domestically and internationally.

  • Access through the Seoul National University portal (https://my.snu.ac.kr) by clicking on the ‘Mail’ menu at the top.
    ※ Accessible via a separate browser at the internet address (https://snu.gov-dooray.com/mail) or through the “Dooray” app on mobile devices (enter organization domain as “snu”).

Spam Settings

  • On the initial screen of the Seoul National University portal, go to ‘Mail’ at the top. ▶ Click the ‘Gear’ icon in the upper right corner. ▶ ‘Go to ‘Settings,’ then ‘Mail,’ and select ‘Spam Settings.’

Mass Email and Surveys/SMS/Notification Services

  • If you need to send emails to multiple users or conduct surveys for educational, academic, or research purposes, you can obtain sending authorization from your department’s administrator. After obtaining approval from the department head, you can use these services.
    – On the initial screen of the Seoul National University portal, go to the bottom left corner ▶ select ‘IT Services ▶ ‘Mass Email,’ ‘Surveys,’ or ‘SMS/Notification Sending.’

  • Download the “서울대학교 App” app from Google PlayStore or Apple AppStore.
  • The app provides easy access to user-friendly features among the services offered through the Seoul National University portal.

  • Download the “서울대 캠퍼스 맵” app for building searches, directions, and restaurant menus.

  • The IT Service Center of the Information Technology Services provides comprehensive counseling services to resolve issues that arise while using information services within the university.
