- August 2012.  Next-Generation Administrative System Level 1, 2nd year begins (Goods, Assets, HR, etc.)

- July 2012.  Central Computer Center abolished, integrated into IS&T.

- July. 2012. Professor Lee Sang-Goo (College of Computer Engineering) appointed Director of Central Computer Center.

- July 2012. Coverage expands for SNU-SKT Industry-Academy Cooperation Wireless LAN.

- January 2012.  Internet bandwidth expanded (2.8 Gbps total).

- September 2007. SNU signs user agreement with KT Wibro (1st Year).

- January 2007.  Internet bandwidth expanded (1.7 Gbps total).

- December 2006. Block to be leaked Personal Information in advance and Checkup Program begun.

- October 2000. Professor Seo Kwang-Seok (Dept. of Electronic & Computer Engineering) appointed Director of Central Academic Research Computer Center.

- October 2000. Supercomputer Unit 2 brought into Central Computer Center.

- July 2000.  Campus Network Management System (NMS) constructed.

- July 2000.  Management Information support system begun.

- June 2000.  Unattended Information System (KIOSK) begun.

- May 2000. Major updates completed for the SNU website.

- October 1999. Professor Seo Kwang-Seok (Dept. of Electronic & Computer Engineering), appointed Associate Director of Central Academic Research Computer Center.

- October 1999.  Internet bandwidth expanded (90 Mbps total).

- August 1999. Professor Lee Seok-Ho (Dept. of Computer Engineering) appointed Director of Central Academic Research Computer Center.

- June 1999.  Comprehensive Administration System begun.

ㆍEducation & Research Support Dept. is charged with building and operating computing system to support education and research activities at SNU.

ㆍAdministrative Information Management Dept. is charged with developing and maintaining IT program for computerizing SNU administration.
